Stamps for the Botswana literacy campaign, published by the Botswana Government. I used real people as models. When people in that village asked at the post office for stamps they asked for five 'Rra Molefi' stamps or one 'Mogomotsi' stamp etc.

While I worked for the 'Christian Institute' in Cape Town I worked mainly as a photographer and recorded the township life. The CI produced a set of posters which were banned the day they were published. This is one of the posters.
